Kuami Eugene, born Eugene Kwame Marfo on February 1, 1997, is a Ghanaian high-life and afrobeat singer-songwriter. His songs include “Angela,” “Wish Me Well,” “Ohemaa,” and many others. He has signed to Lynx Entertainment and Empire Distribution.
In 2018, he was the recipient of the New Artist honours from both the Ghana Music Awards and the Ghana Music Awards UK. Additionally, he was given the AFRIMA Most Promising Artist in Africa award. Kwame Eugene was nominated for seven Ghana Music Awards categories in 2019 before taking home the prizes for Album of the Year, Producer of the Year, and Highlife Artist of the Year. At the 2020 Ghana Music Awards, he was named Artist of the Year and High-life Artist of the Year.
