Eugene Kwame Marfo, also known as Kuami Eugene, is a Ghanaian High-life and Afrobeat singer-songwriter who was born on February 1, 1997. He has songs like “Angela,” “Wish Me Well,” “Ohemaa,” and many more that have made him famous. He is signed to Lynx Entertainment and Empire Distribution. In 2018, the Ghana Music Awards and the Ghana Music Awards UK both gave him awards for Best New Artist.
AFRIMA also gave him an award for Most Promising Artist in Africa. Kwame Eugene was nominated for seven Ghana Music Awards in 2019, and he ended up winning three of them: Album of the Year, Producer of the Year, and Highlife Artist of the Year. At the 2020 Ghana Music Awards, he was named Artist of the Year and High-life Artist of the Year.
Kuami Eugene was born to Mr. Alex and Mrs. Juliana Marfo in Akim Oda, Ghana. From a young age, his love of music led him to sing in church, where he also learned to play the drum, keyboard, and guitar.[9] He went to Akim-Wenchi’s Salvation Army Senior High School. The young artist, who grew up in Fadama, an area of Accra, went to Ghana Telecom University to learn more.
