I’m Yet To Submit My Attempt For Sing-A-Thon Recognition – Afua Asantewaa

The Ghanaian Tourism Ambassador who attempted to break the Guinness World Record for the longest singing marathon by an individual, Afua Asantewaa Owusu Aduonum, has stated that she has yet to submit her attempt for formal certification.

According to her, the judges and technical team have completed their job and will shortly submit it to Guinness World Records for verification before making an official announcement about her record attempt.

She gave this explanation during the 31st Watch Night service at Prampram’s Potter’s City, which was led by Prophet Nanasei Opoku-Sarkodie.

Afua Asantewaa’s attempt to break the sing-a-thon record began on Christmas Eve and ended on Friday, December 29, 2023, after 126 hours and 52 minutes.

During the sing-a-thon, the entrepreneur only performed Ghanaian songs back-to-back at the Akwaaba village, where various Ghanaians, including A-list singers and politicians, came to support her.
