Nigerian Musician, Yemi Alade To Perform At The Opening Ceremony Of AFCON 2023.

On Saturday, January 13, 2024, Nigerian diva Yemi Alade will perform at the opening ceremony of the 2023 African Cup Of Nations (AFCON) competition at the Stade Olympique Alessane Ouattara in Abidjan (Côte d’Ivoire).

Yemi Alade, 34, collaborated on the official song ‘AKWAABA’ for AFCON 2023 with Ivorian popular group Magic System and Egyptian rapper Mohamed Ramadan.

During the October draw, they sang the official anthem for the first time.

The winner of the AFRIMA and MTV African Music Awards will perform before the opening game between Ivory Coast and Guinea Bissau.

The Queen of Afrobeats is anticipated to wow fans in Africa’s most prestigious football competition with global songs like as “Johnny,” “Woman of Steel,” and “Oh My Gosh.
